RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other FIA WEC events, the 6 Hours of São Paulo visitors are obliged to abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them:

What you can’t take with you?

Items that can be used to damage or deface property - or any part of the circuit and its surroundings - as well as obstructions, hindrances or interruptions to the race, affecting public safety, as well as any merchandise or tickets for commercial distribution and any dangerous items, are prohibited by law.

Anyone entering the entertainment area will be subject to a check/search.

Refusal may result in not being admitted without a refund. Please note that certain items are not allowed to be brought into the entertainment area.

The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

  • Glass bottles, open cans (except single-use water bottles up to 500 ml)
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Illegal or prohibited substances
  • Fireworks, flares, explosives, or similar devices
  • Sharp, pointed, or cutting objects (such as knives, pocket knives, scissors)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Drones or remote-controlled devices
  • Large umbrellas or those with pointed tips
  • Musical instruments, horns, megaphones, and whistles
  • Aerosol sprays (such as deodorants or insect repellents)
  • Folding chairs or benches
  • Coolers and thermal boxes
  • Helmets
  • Pets (except properly marked guide dogs)
  • Flags with poles
  • Unauthorised political or advertising materials
  • Any object that could be thrown and cause injury
  • Lasers, laser pointers, or high-powered flashlights

What can you take with you?

We generally recommend visitors of FIA WEC races to pack light and take only the essentials - money, phone, spare battery for their camera, etc. There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the race circuit, of course, remember your ticket for each specific day and valid ID for yourself and your children.

List of allowed items:

  • Backpack or bag (subject to search upon entry to the race track)
  • Empty bottles, plastic cups, and thermal containers are permitted as long as they contain no liquids (water hydration stations are available at the event)
  • Packaged processed foods (such as cookies, cereal bars, and snacks)
  • Cut fruit (packed in a clear, flexible zip-lock bag)
  • Sandwiches (packed in a clear, flexible zip-lock bag)
  • Single-use plastic water bottles up to 500 ml

Luggage storage facility

A digital luggage storage service will be available, offering participants enhanced convenience and security. Access to the lockers will be entirely digital, managed through an account that needs to be set up in advance. This service, available for a fee, provides a hassle-free way to store personal belongings during the event. This innovative solution not only minimises waiting times but also optimises users' time, ensuring greater efficiency and control.
